Each month, the Giving Team meets, discusses, evaluates, and determines a worthy organization that provides aid, assistance, and support to our local community. With the holiday season upon us, you may find yourself searching for an organization to donate your time or money. We’ve chosen three non-profits to highlight for your consideration!
The Catcade

First, we have The Catcade. Located in Lakeview, it is an arcade-themed cat rescue, lounge, and cat café. Yes, you read that right! At The Catcade, cats are free to roam the 600 sq foot lounge. Patrons can pay $15 to visit and spend time kickin’ it with their rescue cats.
Ravenswood Community Services

Next on the list is Ravenswood Community Services. RCS, established in 1993 by All Saints Church, is right down the street from a Beal Property! They provide food and supplies to members of their community and surrounding neighborhoods. If you’re interested in getting involved with RCS, there are many ways in which you can be involved!
Sip of Hope Coffee

Logan Square is home to the world’s first coffee shop, where all of the profits go towards bringing awareness to the mental health community. The coffee shop is the result of a collaboration between Hope For The Day and Dark Matter Coffee. Sip of Hope Coffee is an excellent opportunity for those to give back, by just showing up.
