Cheers to 2021

If 2020 has been one thing, it is challenging. With the pandemic disrupting many of our livelihoods and affecting communities across Chicago and the nation, we have had to navigate new challenges this year. As a new year approaches, there are a few things you can do to celebrate and ensure 2021 is off to a great start!

 

  • NYE Resolutions: While some are opposed to New Year’s resolutions, they offer an opportunity for us to think about what we’d like to do in the new year. Think about a new passion or interest you’d like to explore and try to commit to giving yourself time in the new year for it.

 

  • Gratitude List: Write down all of the things you were grateful for in 2020. While the year was not an easy one, it has been a time for people to slow down a bit and remember the people and things they are grateful for.

 

  • Stay Connected: This year has also provided us with the unique opportunity to embrace technology and stay connected to friends and loved ones. Make an effort to keep in touch with these individuals in the new year.

 

  • Get Organized: Declutter and destress! Organize all your belongings and apartment before the new year. It feels great to ring in a new year clutter free!
